One of Many Nicknames
Snow Bear by Piers Harper is a popular book with my daughter. It details the adventure of a young polar bear who is encouraged by his mother to 'meet the world.' Along the way he meets a seal and a reindeer and in the meantime, gets lost and separated from his mother. With the help of an Eskimo girl, he finds his way back home to Mama Bear who is happy to see that he has safely returned. Hence, I now refer to my daughter as My Little Snow Bear.
The story continues...now that I have a son, he's become my other lovable snow bear.
